Job summary

QProducts and Services, part of the Lanco Group of Companies, is growing and adding a 2nd Shift! We’re looking for Packaging Machine Operators to join our team.

The operator prepares and runs packaging equipment, threads film, programs presets, passes quilts, and uses the QuiltTracker app to record production. This is a production role in a climate controlled environment with exposure to noise and heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality in production.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math operations.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the packaging machine by staging product, threading film, and programming presets.
• Operate rollpack or smashing machines and adjust settings for optimal performance.
• Pass quilts through the machine and monitor for correct function.
• Record production in QuiltTracker using QR codes.
• Perform preventative maintenance and report malfunctions.
• Maintain clean work area and assist with packaging and labeling.
