Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator to safely operate production machines, following GMPs and safety rules. The role emphasizes quality and efficiency, with opportunities to learn across multiple machines and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Past packaging/manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines safely and efficiently.
• Follow GMPs and safety rules at all times.
• Maintain quality by preventing defects and stopping bad quality from reaching customers.
• Identify and address mechanical issues; report to supervisor promptly.
• Assist in housekeeping and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Train and assist junior operators and cross-train on other machines.
• Complete reports accurately and timely (production data, status, safety, quality).
