Job summary

Timken Distribution Center in Duncan, SC is hiring 2nd Shift Package Processors. Work 3pm-11pm Monday through Friday with overtime as scheduled. We value safety, accuracy, productivity and customer service to ensure on-time packaging and shipping.

Applicants should have manufacturing experience, be able to lift up to 55 pounds, and read work instructions. A high school diploma or GED is required, and steel-toed shoes are required on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and work procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Use hand-held scanner to scan and sort product by part number and create Print DN.
• Verify parts, quantities and specifications against the DN.
• Pack material into shipping containers with required dunnage and labels.
• Follow PK codes, GPRs and pack diagrams as required.
• Reverify part numbers and quantities after packaging.
• Apply labels and ensure proper placement per customer requirements.
• Assist in selecting products per packing instructions.
