Job summary

Brakebush Brothers in Mocksville, NC is seeking a 2nd Shift Pack Out Machine Operator. The role runs 4:30pm until end of production, Monday through Thursday with schedule variations possible.

Compensation starts at $23.18 per hour for a full-time, nonexempt position under the Production Supervisor. Responsibilities include setting up/operating packing equipment, recording batch and product data, and performing general duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must complete required safety training (Lock Out/Tag Out, Powered Industrial Trucks, Hazard Communication, etc.).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 10 hours per day.
• Basic data entry into a computer system on Windows; SAP experience a plus; HACCP knowledge a plus.

POSITION: Packout Machine Operator

HOURS: 4 :30pm - until the end of production (Mon- Thurs, Schedule May Vary )

COMPENSATION: $23.18

REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor

EMPLOYMENT: Full time

JOB DUTIES:

• Set up and operate packing equipment, including loading film, installing cutting and heating tools, verifying setpoints, and other mechanical adjustments such as belt installation, inspection tool verification, temperature checks, etc.
• Perform setup to machine specifications by following batch sheet and load formulation information for each product code.
• Accurately complete paperwork and enter it into computer systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to very cold; noise; humidity; moving vehicles; slippery floors; possible heavy and repeated lifting. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
