Job summary

Ferguson is hiring for 2nd shift Order Pickers at our Coxsackie, NY distribution center. This role focuses on safe, accurate picking and packing for fast-paced operations.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm. Starting pay is $23.50 per hour with a monthly incentive bonus and benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and PTO. Overtime available; PIT certification training provided; RF scanners and voice systems used daily; PPE required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demands.
• Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (stand‑up forklifts, reach trucks, order selectors, dock stockers).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with, or readiness to learn, warehouse technology such as RF scanners or voice systems.
• Regular and reliable attendance; PPE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered equipment per OSHA and Ferguson safety procedures.
• Accurately pick, sort, stage, transport product to locations.
• Use RF scanners, voice systems, or labour management systems daily.
• Build, wrap, label, and organize pallets; maintain inventory integrity.
• Maintain product accuracy and safety; follow SOPs.
• Communicate with team; maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Attend team meetings; report concerns and improvement opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.
