Job summary

Kemps, a DFA farmer-owned brand, is hiring warehouse operators in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. You will pick, pull, build orders, palletize products, and stage materials for delivery while safely operating equipment in cold environments.

Starting pay is $27.71 per hour with potential to earn $30.75 after one year. Shifts are 10–12 hours, 4 days per week, starting at 4pm, with a rotating schedule. Benefits include 401(k), healthcare, and more.

Qualifications

• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 high.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment and in temperatures 35–40 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform picking, pulling and building of orders, palletizing products and staging materials for outgoing delivery.
• Operate various warehouse equipment safely in a cooler, freezer, or dock environment.
• Act as the middle point between order pickers and truck loaders, organizing orders on trailers for efficient loading.

Kemps has immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated warehouse operators to perform any combination of picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery, and working any station or line that is assigned. Additionally, warehouse operators are responsible for safely operating various material and handling equipment and machinery within a warehouse, cooler, freezer or dock environment.

This position serves as the middle point between the order pickers and the truck loaders. This person is responsible for organizing orders on each trailer so that the truck loader can load trailers efficiently.

OUR OPERATORS FOR THIS POSITION START AT:

$27.71/hour, after 1 year our operators earn $30.75/hour.

SCHEDULE:

10-12 hour shifts, starting at 4pm, rotating schedule, scheduled 4 days per week
