Job summary

Amtec Staffing is seeking a 2nd shift Operations Supervisor to lead our manufacturing teams on-site in Brea, CA. The role focuses on directing SMT and other production areas, driving performance, and maintaining a safe, high-quality environment.

The successful candidate will coach operators, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth shift handoffs and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with PCBA or electronics manufacturing preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Data-driven with KPI focus for shop-floor improvements.
• Experience with HRIS/timekeeping software (ADP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Direct 2nd-shift production to meet quality, throughput, and scheduling targets.
• Coach, mentor, and manage operators; conduct performance reviews and 1:1s.
• Enforce safety protocols and oversee end-of-shift facility lockup at 11:00 PM.
• Manage timekeeping, time-off requests, and staffing via HRIS/ADP.
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Resolve shift escalations and coordinate across departments.
