Job summary

Swagelok is seeking an Operations Manager for the Strongsville, OH campus on 2nd shift. The role leads manufacturing operations, drives continuous improvement, and coaches 6-12 supervisors over 100-250 hourly associates. Focus areas include safety, quality, service, cost, and associate engagement.

The candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, execute budgeted plans, and develop leadership talent while aligning with Swagelok values and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or substantial equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 4+ years of operations experience (manufacturing or comparable).
• 2+ years of leadership experience, leading other leaders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads by example in a values-based culture and aligns the team with the company mission and values.
• Drives Lean Daily Management to resolve daily operations issues with minimal oversight.
• Leads continuous improvement to improve safety, quality, service, cost and engagement.
• Executes lean tools to drive out waste and maintain product flow.
• Manages safety culture and crisis response, coaching others on safety escalations.
• Ensures regulatory and Swagelok quality systems compliance.
• Balances labor, capacity and material constraints to meet business needs.
• Manages budgets and production variances, driving countermeasures to goals.
• Develops and coaches the supervisory team for growth and accountability.
