Job summary

Glovis EV Logistics America is seeking an Operations Assistant Manager in Ellabell, GA. The role oversees Consolidation Center operations, provides leadership to staff, and ensures customer satisfaction while enforcing safety standards and driving KPI performance.

The position reports to the Operations Manager, with a Monday–Friday schedule, possible overtime, and onsite work. Requires strong Excel skills and a background in logistics leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced logistics/production environment.
• At least 8 years of logistics, warehousing, distribution, or relevant field

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and subcontractor in day-to-day activities and ensure policies are followed.
• Coordinate team efforts to achieve KPI goals in Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Customer Experience.
• Manage costs and implement goals to reduce loss while maximizing profits.
• Lead RFQ processes from potential customers.
• Conduct monthly finance closing on AP/AR invoices and provide documentation.
