Job summary

Leidos is seeking a NOC/SOC Technician (2nd Shift) to join our Defense Sector team at Langley AFB, VA. The role blends network operations and cybersecurity, triaging alerts, troubleshooting issues, and documenting incidents for smooth handover to day-shift teams.

Daily on-site work is required with core hours 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Ideal candidates hold a TS/SCI clearance, IAT II certification, and 1–3+ years in IT security or network administration, with experience in Splunk, CrowdStrike, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
• DoD 8140/8570: IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
• 1–3+ years hands-on IT security or network administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Continuous monitoring of SIEM and network dashboards for threats and outages.
• Triage incidents, run diagnostics, contain anomalies.
• Escalate high-severity incidents and handoff with detailed shift reports.
• Assist with routing, connectivity issues, backups, and patch management during off-peak hours.
