Job summary
Randstad USA is seeking an Industrial Multicraft Maintenance Mechanic to own the 2nd shift on our high-speed production floor. The 4x12 schedule (Mon–Thu, 3 PM–3:30 AM) offers built-in daily overtime and a 3-day weekend every other week.
You’ll troubleshoot electrical control circuits, PLCs, VFDs, and 480V motors, perform preventative and corrective maintenance on conveyors and packaging machinery, read schematics, and log all activity in the CMMS while following safety protocols.
Qualifications
- 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience
- 5 years of electrical troubleshooting experience
- 5 years of experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical control circuits, PLCs, VFDs, motors, servos, and transformers
- Read, interpret, and update electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Use testing equipment to isolate faults and ensure safety
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems and conveyors
- Diagnose mechanical failures and perform alignments, replacements, and rebuilds
- Document all maintenance activities in the CMMS and maintain safety protocols
