Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical, hydraulic, steam, water, and pneumatic systems, plus repair on industrial ovens and conveyors. The role emphasizes fabrication and strict safety standards.

Requirements include 3+ years in a food manufacturing or high-speed setting, HS education, ability to work non-air-conditioned environments, and overtime/weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of maintenance in a food manufacturing or high-speed production environment.
• Proficiency with hand tools, precision instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturer manuals and blueprints.
• Basic computer skills for documenting work orders.

Responsibilities

• Systems Repair: Maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, steam, water, and pneumatic systems.
• Equipment Upkeep: Perform preventative and emergency repairs on ovens, mixers, coolers, conveyors, and high-pressure steam systems.
• Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues with electric motors, motor controls, device controls, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Fabrication: Perform gas and arc welding, as well as soldering for structural and mechanical repairs.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow GMP, SQF, OSHA regulations including Lockout/Tagout, Hot Works, and Confined Space.
