Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Mold Setter/Machine Operator for our third shift in Gaffney, SC. Base pay is $21.00 per hour, plus a $0.75 per hour shift differential, with benefits starting on day one and weekly pay.

Responsibilities include setting scheduled molds in presses, connecting water lines for cooling, ensuring presses are ready to cycle, maintaining safety, and following setup guidelines. A strong mechanical aptitude and mold-setting/mold-processing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Mold setting experience preferred.
• Processing and setting molds experience preferred.
• Machine operator experience required.
• Mechanical ability required.
• Maintenance experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist to set scheduled molds in presses for production and sample orders.
• Connect water lines to molds to ensure proper cooling and avoid delays.
• Set switches on presses so the press is ready for cycling.
• Set safety bars and switches; ensure mold protection is engaged.
• Spray and handle molds to prevent damage.
• Clean up equipment and supplies; keep area organized.
• Hang molds in press with care to avoid damage.
• Ensure proper clamps and alignment for molds.
