Job summary

AISIN World Corp. seeks a 2nd Shift Mold Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on injection and rim molds, ensure overall mold reliability, and support continuous improvement in the mold shop.

The role requires the ability to safely operate an overhead crane, disassemble and reassemble molds, and use basic hand tools; MIG/TIG welding and precision measurement experience are preferred for quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance on injection and Rim molds.
• Ability to safely operate the overhead crane and use basic hand tools.
• Welding experience with MIG/TIG and understanding of mold tooling.
• Familiarity with plastics and precision measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance activities on injection molds.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities on Rim molds.
• Participate in shop related continuous improvement activities.
• Document all results and actions using shop reporting systems.
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble injection and rim molds.
• Safely operate the overhead crane.
