Job summary

Express Employment International is seeking a Mixer Operator for our La Salle, IL facility. You will prepare and mix ingredients per recipes and production schedules, monitor times and speeds, and ensure quality and food safety standards throughout the process.

The role requires ability to read formulas, perform basic math, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain GMP-compliant, clean and organized work areas. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, measure, and stage ingredients per batch sheets.
• Operate mixing equipment and monitor times, speeds, and specs.
• Verify ingredients added in correct sequence.
• Perform quality checks on doughs and mixes for consistency.
• Complete batch records and production documentation.
• Report equipment issues to maintenance or supervision.
• Follow GMP, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with setup, changeovers, and cleaning between runs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with production and packaging to meet daily goals.
