United Alloy is seeking a skilled welder to fabricate and weld components per custom specifications while aligning with our quality standards and manufacturing philosophies. The role emphasizes maintaining welding performance and efficiency on the shop floor.

The position operates Monday-Thursday evenings, with overtime as required, and offers exposure to a manufacturing environment with strong emphasis on safety, quality, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Exposure to metal fabrication concepts.
• Must pass UAI AWS D1.1 welding test.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Set up and weld in 1-2 work centers under supervision.
• Weld products using fixturing and maintain quality per specs.
• Maintain welding machines, adjust wire, monitor gas.
• Conduct tank leak tests and ensure welding efficiency.
• Inspect own work and meet Inspection Control Plan standards.
• Mentor and train other welders as needed.
• Perform routine PM on equipment and comply with safety policies.
