Responsibilities

• Repair and modify industrial metal racks.
• Perform MIG welding (about 50% of the job).

• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld components before final weld.
• Inspect welds and perform repairs to ensure quality.
• Evaluate returned racks and assist with repair estimates.
• Enter production data and material usage into the data collection system.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for repairs.

Are you an experienced welder looking for a stable career with a company that values quality and craftsmanship? Our client is seeking a MIG Welder to help repair and modify industrial storage racks used by customers across the region. If you enjoy hands‑on work and want a four‑day work week, this opportunity is for you!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Repair and modify industrial metal racks
• Perform MIG welding (approximately 50% of the job)
• Read blueprints and weld assemblies to customer specifications
• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld components prior to final welding
• Inspect finished welds and make repairs as needed to ensure quality and stability
• Evaluate returned racks and assist with repair estimates
• Enter production information, material usage, and labor into the data collection system
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
• Travel occasionally to customer sites to complete repairs and installations
• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures

What We're Looking For:
