Job summary

Anchor Fabrication LLC in Wichita, KS is seeking a Production Welder for 2nd shift who will join, fabricate, and repair metal using MIG welding. You will read blueprints and welding symbols to select processes, maintain safe, clean work habits, and ensure pieces meet specifications.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods. Responsibilities include welding in flat/horizontal positions, fabricating per drawings, and contributing to continuous quality improvement

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and product specifications.
• The ability and maturity to perform in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• The ability to operate hand tools.
• Work in such a way as to create limited scrap or rework and work to continually improve quality level.
• Keep work area clean.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently weld components in flat and horizontal positions (at minimum).
• Perform work using safe work habits.
• Fabricate pieces ensuring conformance with product specifications and blueprints.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Undertake other duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibility of position.
