Job summary

MIRATECH, a global leader in emission and silencing solutions, is seeking 2nd Shift Welders in Prior Lake, MN.

Second shift hours are Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:30am with overtime as necessary; welders hired are eligible for a $2.00/hr shift differential.

Responsibilities include MIG welding, reading blueprints, QC awareness, deburring and grinding, plus safe operation of welding tools. Must lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Welding certification from a recognized technical institute or trade school is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to use welding equipment and related tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Experience using electrical or manual tools (grinders, saws, squares, calipers).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Welding certification is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs individually and heavier with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding based on product needs, welding round and rectangular elements.
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other instructions and diagrams.
• Quality control and adherence to product specifications.
• De-bur and grind metal to achieve proper surface texture.
• Follow welding safety procedures and use PPE as provided.
• Other duties as assigned.
