OneSource Staffing is hiring an experienced Painter / Powder Coater / Grinder / Polisher for a steady 2nd shift position in New Columbia, PA. The role focuses on achieving a clean, high-quality finish with attention to detail.
You will grind, polish, prep, and paint or powder coat metal parts, ensuring proper adhesion and finish while reading blueprints and following specifications. Health insurance options and weekly pay are highlighted benefits.
Competenze
- 1–2 years of painting, grinding, polishing, or powder coating experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to read a tape measure and square; basic computer skills.
- Forklift certification is a plus or willingness to obtain.
Mansioni
- Grind, polish, and prep metal parts for painting and finishing.
- Select the proper grinding tools, belts, wheels, and discs.
- Prepare parts with filler and grind surfaces for a smooth finish.
- Clean parts to ensure good paint adhesion and coverage.
- Perform wet spray painting and powder coating.
- Operate spray equipment, pressure pots, and diaphragm pumps.
- Apply paint and finishes for complete, consistent coverage.
- Inspect work and correct defects before parts move to the next department.
- Grind and polish weld seams to a smooth finish.
