Job summary

Triple Cities Metal Finishing is seeking a powder coater for the 2nd shift to apply high-quality powder coatings to metal parts and products. You will prepare, coat, cure, and inspect finishes to ensure durability and aesthetics, while maintaining safe, organized work areas in a large 125,000 sq ft facility.

Shifts run Monday–Thursday, 2:30pm–1:00am. Competitive hourly wage with a $1.00 shift differential and full benefits package including holidays, vacation, 401(k) match, health coverage, and

Qualifications

• Experience as a Powder Coater preferred.
• Knowledge of powder coating techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for powder coating by cleaning, degreasing, sanding, and masking as needed.
• Set up and operate powder coating equipment and ovens.
• Select appropriate coatings per job specs and color charts.
• Load/unload parts ensuring proper spacing for even coating.
• Apply coatings evenly ensuring consistent thickness and coverage.
• Monitor process and adjust settings for desired finish and adhesion.
• Cure parts in oven at specified temps and times.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized booth and work area, adhering to safety rules.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
