Qualifications

• Welding certifications for horizontal, flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Proficiency in interpreting precision measurement gauges.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints.
• Detail-oriented mindset and collaborative team-player attitude.
• Experience or foundational understanding of construction sector.
• Strong math and reading comprehension skills.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Clear communication in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist in fitting and welding by lifting, positioning, and moving workpieces.
• Ensure accurate layout by marking reference points with tape measures and edges.
• Move stock, tools, and projects by hand or with a crane to maintain workflow.
• Prepare heavy components for transport by crane or jib with clamps and chains.
• Prepare surfaces for welding, fabrication, painting, or shipping through cleaning and grinding.
• Keep shop floor clean by removing scrap from active zones.
• Maintain safe workspace by sanitizing tools and machinery.
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely across the facility.
• Contribute to production of miscellaneous metal components and related items.
