Job summary

Tenneco in Glasgow, KY is hiring a Maintenance Technician I–III on 2nd shift. The role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment using safety-focused maintenance systems.

You'll work with robotics and electrical control systems, read manuals and schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives while meeting quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification.
• Successful completion of Maintenance Apprenticeship program or Technical Certification (equivalent experience may take the place).
• 2-4 years of maintenance manufacturing experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and able to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment.
• Follow safety rules and use PPE at all times.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders; diagnose problems and replace parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and simple machinist tasks as needed.
• Operate hand and power tools, meters, and equipment.
• Fill in as Maintenance Team Leader when needed.
