Atlas Copco in Voorheesville, NY is hiring a Mechanical Assembler to join our on-site manufacturing team. You will assemble and test compressors and related equipment, following detailed drawings and safety rules.

The role requires standing second shift Mon-Thu 3:00pm–1:30am EST, reading assembly/wiring drawings, using hand and pneumatic tools, cranes and forklifts certified. We offer competitive pay $29–$33/hour plus 10% shift differential, PTO, 401(k), and growth opportunities.

Competenze

• One year of training in the Electrical or Mechanical field or two years of equivalent experience.
• Able to read and understand assembly and wiring drawings.
• Experience with common hand and pneumatic tools.
• Certification to use cranes and fork trucks.

Mansioni

• Assemble and disassemble compressors, blowers, and related equipment using hand tools, power tools, cranes, and fork trucks.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly work, including motor/compressor alignment, electrical box assembly, and system installation.
• Install and connect instrument wiring, electrical components, and oil/water piping by following assembly and wiring drawings.
• Conduct hydrostatic testing and other verification steps to ensure equipment meets quality and operational standards.
• Follow all company safety rules and procedures, maintaining compliance with OSHA requirements and contributing to a safe work environment.
• Work second shift: Monday through Thursday 3:00pm to 1:30am EST.
