Job summary

Volt is hiring multiple Mechanics in Mabank, TX. You will teardown and rebuild turbine engines, disassemble and re-assemble equipment, and install mechanical parts and components. Some roles include testing components, cabling, wiring, and sub-assembly.

These are full-time temp-to-hire opportunities with a Monday–Friday schedule (1pm–9:45pm) and substantial overtime and Saturday work. Pay rate is $18.00–$21.00 per hour DOE, with eligibility-based benefits.

• Experience using hand and power tools for mechanical work.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to pass a 7-year criminal background and drug screen.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior work experience working with hand tools, power tools that entailed some for of mechanical work
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a 7-year criminal background and drug screen

Pay Rate*:$18.00 -$21.00 per hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
