Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a grinder operator on the 2nd shift in Wisconsin. You will setup, tear down and operate grinding lines, coordinate batching, and maintain accurate batch records in compliance with GMP and SQF standards.

Responsibilities include running conveyors, mixers, and related equipment, plus handling ingredients and maintaining cleanliness. Overtime, safety training, and cross-training are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 3 months of work history with the same employer.
• Willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions.
• Able to perform basic math operations.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends.
• Willingness to obtain tow motor certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinders, power lifts, conveyors, mixers and related equipment.
• Add water, cures, seasoning and other ingredients to meat blends for proper batching.
• Keep grinders and other equipment filled and clean.
• Maintain accurate batch records per company policy.
• Weigh and dispose of inedible and edible contents as required.
• Move up to 5,000 pounds of meat per day between tanks.
• Assemble, tear down and inspect final grind equipment and vats.
• Follow safety, GMP and SQF requirements and participate in job rotation.
