Job summary

Summit Polymers in Michigan is seeking a Supervisor, Materials (Warehouse) to oversee inventory flow and ensure accurate daily, weekly, and monthly records across shipments.

You will coordinate with vendors, the Manager, Materials (Corporate Warehouse), and engineering, purchasing, customer service and finance to support on-time, quality outcomes. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience in materials or related field.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Supervisory and inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct activities of the materials warehouse.
• Maintain and organize inventories.
• Complete paperwork for domestic and international shipments to engineering tool shops and SPI locations including customs paperwork.
• Maintain min/max inventories of resins/colorants supplied to SPI plants.
• Coordinate quarterly physical inventories.
• Schedule freight shipments and Expedites orders as required.
