Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. seeks a Material & Warehouse Supervisor - Crew B (2nd Shift) to lead warehouse operations, supervise material handling personnel, and ensure safe, efficient daily activities aligned with production goals.

You will manage inventory accuracy with cycle counts and ERP/MRP tools, coordinate replenishment and lead-time planning with procurement and logistics, and drive Lean initiatives (JIT, Kanban) to reduce shortages and bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience, or Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 3 years.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership in warehouse management, materials supervision, logistics, or supply chain operations in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience supervising hourly warehouse and material handling personnel.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, material planning, and supply chain processes.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Knowledge of Lean principles, including JIT, Kanban, pull systems, and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, communication, and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse and material handling personnel to ensure safe, efficient daily operations.
• Manage material flow and inventory control to support production while minimizing excess inventory.
• Train, coach, and develop hourly team members to maintain a high-performing workforce.
• Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate replenishment schedules, purchase orders, and lead-time management with procurement.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize inbound/outbound material movements.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to monitor inventory levels, consumption, forecasts, and replenishment needs.
• Implement Lean initiatives including JIT, Kanban, and pull systems.
• Identify and resolve shortages, bottlenecks, and disruptions impacting production.
• Lead workforce planning and shift scheduling to align staffing with production demands.
• Monitor performance and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement for warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.
