Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in materials, warehouse, logistics, or related field.
• Experience with material flow, inventory movement, or shipping/receiving preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite incl. Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support the mission and daily objectives of the Loading Department.
• Coordinate and expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities, and compile and maintain manual or computerized records.
• Review production schedules and related information and confer with department supervisors to determine material requirements, identify overdue materials, and track material.
• Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• May move or transport materials from one department to another, manually or using material handling equipment.
• Attend Daily Production Meetings, ensuring problems are identified and addressed promptly.
• Work with support departments to determine root cause and implement corrective actions to achieve order fulfillment.
• Utilize resources such as customer order management, pull reports, Apriso, Synchrono, and AS400 for inventory availability to avoid shortages.
• Provide investigation results with Inventory Control for BOM or deviation back-flushing issues.
• Define and implement Standard Work to ensure 100% material delivery and process goals.
• Work with Team Leaders to provide tools to create efficient material flow.
• Promote commitment to quality and continuous improvement through standard work and programs.
• Communicate daily problems to shift management to ensure operation continuity.
• Apply Club Car policies consistently.
