Job summary

Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. is seeking a motivated Material Handler for the 2nd shift at our local site. This role focuses on safely moving steel, meeting daily productivity goals, and assisting with maintenance as needed.

The candidate will operate forklifts and overhead cranes and work indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions. The position requires following safe methods of work, reading work orders, and collaborating with team members to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Follow safety standards and company methods.
• Read and interpret work orders or oral instructions.
• Plan and organize tasks independently or with a team.
• Demonstrate basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Move steel to/from storage or production areas using forklift or crane.
• Attach slings, hooks, and load securement devices to move materials.
• Operate and maintain equipment and report safety issues.
• Meet daily productivity and quality goals while following safety rules.
• Attend required company meetings and participate in team activities.
