Job summary

Philips in Ontario, California is hiring a Material Handler for the 2nd shift (2:15pm–10:45pm, five days a week). The role supports the group lead by managing the workflow in the production cell, ensuring the correct BOM components are issued and the line remains stocked with necessary materials.

You will supervise basic line operations and coordinate with warehouse staff to prevent delays. The position requires a high school diploma or GED or equivalent, with no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• No experience required.
• Able to work 2nd shift 2:15pm–10:45pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist group leads to manage workflow within the manufacturing cell to meet daily production goals.
• Ensure correct components are issued for the work order based on the BOM.
• Keep the line supplied with components and remove waste as needed.
• Supervise workflow and move finished goods pallets to the correct locations.
• Monitor inventory of components to ensure the line has enough materials.
• Interface with warehouse personnel to ensure correct components are staged to avoid delays.
• Maintain all materials needed to complete the work order.
