Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler in Grand Rapids, MI. You will receive materials from vendors, move/transact them to production, and package finished goods for shipment with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving and shipping per procedure.
• Ability to load/unload freight.
• Familiarity with cycle counting and inventories.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving and shipping functions per procedure using the inventory control system.
• Load and unload freight.
• Perform transactional functions related to inventory receipts, issues, sub inventory movement and shipments.
• Perform general area housekeeping.
• Assist team members to meet goals by substituting and assisting wherever needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects as needed.
