Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a Material Handler I for the Fort Lauderdale facility on the 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM) to support receiving, storing and distributing materials. Duties include maintaining inventory records, potential forklift operation, and contributing to on-time material flow to production.

Responsibilities also cover cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and training other staff as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports production material requirement needs.
• Maintains records of received goods and alerts inspection as needed.
• May lift/move heavy items and operate a forklift.
• May prepare goods for shipment or production assembly.
• May examine, stock and distribute goods in inventory or other areas.
• May enter information into the inventory management system.
• Assists in physical inventories and cycle counts on a pre-determined basis.
• Determines part disposition and assists in inventory accuracy.
