Zusammenfassung

Wabash National Corporation, based in Lafayette, Indiana, is seeking a 2nd shift Material Handler for the dry van materials line. You will operate forklifts and other heavy equipment, stock lines, and assist with receiving, shipping and production support on the floor.

Qualifikationen

• High school degree or GED equivalent required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass PIV (power industrial vehicle) training.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and verbal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Owning and helping improve our performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
• Maintaining and reporting daily receiving and shipping activities.
• Reporting defects and needs for repairs.
• Keeping lines stocked with the proper materials.
• Performing additional work as assigned by the supervisor or coordinator, which may require assisting in different departments.
• Wearing approved PPE (safety shoes, gloves, glasses, respirators, hearing protection).
• Completing duties in accordance with safety policies and practices.
