Job summary

O'Neal Steel in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift to load and unload material in a busy warehouse, operating forklifts, overhead cranes, stacker cranes, side loaders, yard dogs and other equipment.

You will read a tape measure accurately, use a variety of hand tools, and provide high-quality service to internal and external customers. Shift is Monday–Friday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM with possible overtime. Candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• Operate forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.
• Use hand tools (grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench) as needed.
• Read a tape measure accurately.
• Provide high quality work to internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.
• Use a variety of hand tools including, but not limited to, grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, etc.
• Accurately read a tape measure.
• Provide high quality work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.
