Job summary

CrossFire Group in Chillicothe, OH is seeking Material Handlers for a 3-month contract. The role covers operating either a forklift or a tugger, with starting pay of $16 per hour. Shift options: 1st shift 7:30am–5:00pm and 2nd shift 5:00pm–1:30am.

PPE requirements include steel-toed boots, with uniforms available after two weeks. The position requires a minimum 18 years old, legal work status in the United States, and completion of a Cisive background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–4 years of experience preferred.
• Forklift/tugger experience preferred.
• Multitasking abilities and time management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift or tugger to move materials within the facility.
• Pull collection carts to outside areas and load pallets onto carts for transport.
• Load pallets onto trailers and offload at recycling areas; maintain trash and recycling processes.
• Transport materials to designated collection areas and operate trash compactor as needed.
