Job summary

CrossFire Group is seeking dependable Material Handlers and Forklift Operators for our Ringtown, PA warehouse. The role involves operating propane and electric forklifts, inspecting shipments, handling and packaging materials, loading trucks, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The candidate should have warehouse experience, forklift familiarity, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred, including propane and electric forklifts.
• Ability to safely handle materials and perform physical warehouse duties.
• Dependent, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work the scheduled shift and overtime as needed.
• Background check and drug screen must be completed before starting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments and verify shipping documents for accurate customer information.
• Operate propane and electric forklifts to move materials and finished products.
• Perform start-of-shift forklift safety and preventative maintenance inspections.
• Load semi-trucks and box trucks with finished products for delivery.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
• Prepare, handle, stage, and package materials and finished products.
• Collect and dispose of general waste and recyclables.
• Operate and maintain waste compactors and cardboard balers.
• Maintain department water supplies.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
