Valmont Industries in Farmington, MN is seeking a Material Handler to operate material handling equipment and perform forklift duties on a 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:00pm–12:45am) with a pay range of $26.35–$29.43/hr. The role supports production by moving materials, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining inventory in a manufacturing environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification or ability to obtain it, and 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• 1-3 years of powered industrial truck experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment including cranes, forklift, and other equipment.
• Operate a powered industrial truck in all weather conditions.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
• Transport products within plant and yard.
• Supply manufacturing work stations from stored materials.
• Report damaged goods and shortages; verify inventory levels.
• Perform daily cycle counts as needed.
