Valmont Industries is seeking a Material Handler I to safely move materials and products within our Salem manufacturing facility. You will support production flow, stock inventory, and ensure timely material availability to sustain operations.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Ability to safely operate (or obtain certification to operate) a forklift.
• Basic math skills with counting and simple calculations.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and documentation.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

Mansioni

• Operate a forklift to move materials between departments, yard, and production areas.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and finished goods.
• Stock and organize materials in designated inventory locations.
• Supply production areas with materials to maintain workflow and efficiency.
• Perform basic visual inspections of incoming materials for quality and accuracy.
• Conduct counts and verify inventory against documentation.
• Identify and report equipment issues, material discrepancies, or safety concerns.
