Job description

2nd Shift Material Handler (Transportation)

Hours: Monday - Thursday 4:00pm - 2:30am.

1. Bring materials from warehouse to winding shop.
2. Put materials back in warehouse.
3. In the event the lead is gone for the day, fill in as back-up lead.
4. Stage winding supplies to correct location.
5. Assist winders in setting up machines.
6. Move materials within the shop to stage for machine setup.
7. Collect and sort complex material.
8. Utilize radio to communicate with the winding shop.
9. Follow work orders and update inventory to present to Winding Supervisor.
10. Weigh wire prior to returning to inventory.
11. Strip wire prior to pressing.
12. Move coils to stacking department.
13. Strip all aluminum wire before sending to press/oven.
14. Assist paper cutter/foil slitter/buss bar as needed.
