Job summary

Carfair Composites is seeking a warehouse associate to assist with receiving and shipping in our Minnesota facility. Shift is Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm-1:30am with a wage of $21.22 per hour.

You will operate a forklift and pallet jack, load and unload products, and ensure crates/pallets are secured for transport while supporting production floor logistics.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely operate a forklift.
• Ability to load and unload product and racks from trucks.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good verbal and written communication; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving and shipping duties in the warehouse.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack to move materials.
• Load/secure crates and pallets for transit.
• Move materials to/from production areas as needed.
• Backup driver for local deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
• Assist with groundskeeping as required.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Overtime may be required.

Job description

This position is responsible to assist with aspects of receiving and shipping area.

Requirements

• Must be able and willing to safely drive forklift
• Load and unload product/racks from trucks
• Learn and perform all aspects of the warehouse shipping and receiving procedures
• Ensure all shipping crates/ pallets are properly loaded and secured
• Bring material and supplies to/from different areas of the production floor by using forklift and/or pallet jack
• Empty all garbage containers from production area to outside bins
• Assist with groundskeeping such as shoveling and mowing lawn
• Drain and decap drums as instructed
• Maintain, organize and clean when required/instructed
• Backup driver for local deliveries
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload
• Strong problem-solving abilities including troubleshooting and resolving issues
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task production environment
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written are essential
• Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment
• Ability to work in harmony with others while maintaining a positive and professional attitude with overall success in mind
• Evidence of a satisfactory work record including performance, attendance and team playing
