Job summary

Kemps Dairy, a DFA farmer-owned brand, has immediate openings for a Material Handler/Forklift to unload materials, transfer and store raw and finished products, and operate onsite equipment. All applicants must follow GMP and communicate effectively with all departments.

Join DFA and help deliver the goodness of dairy. 4 days a week, 5PM to finish, with a pay rate of $24.80 per hour; this role offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within a worker-owned cooperative.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings (drug, background, criminal checks).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced, wet environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials and ingredients for warehouse use.
• Transfer and store raw and finished products.
• Operate onsite equipment and machinery in a safe manner.

JOB SUMMARY

Kemps Dairy has immediate job openings for a Material Handler/Forklift to perform all-purpose duties that may include unloading materials and ingredients for warehouse use, transferring and storing raw and finished products, and operating onsite equipment and machinery in a safe manner. General laborers will be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments.

Pay: $24.80 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work in a wet environment
• May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
