Job summary

Mallinckrodt seeks a reliable Material Handler to support manufacturing and packaging by moving materials, loading shipments, and keeping precise movement records. The role entails transferring materials between distribution centers and production floors, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include completing barcode scans, performing periodic audits, and supporting hazardous waste handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing or distribution center.
• New York State driver''s license with CDL classification preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position.
• Familiarity with voice picking systems or RF devices is a plus.
• Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Availability to occasionally work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Locates and moves materials from warehouse storage areas to production areas as required.
• Loads and unloads materials on shipping and receiving docs and on trucks between buildings.
• Maintains accurate records of material movement between buildings and in the distribution network.
• Completes all relevant BPCS and barcode scanning transactions accurately and timely.
• Performs periodic inventory audits and cycle counts as assigned.
• Transports hazardous wastes to appropriate storage areas following safety protocols.
