Job summary

Global Channel Management, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler in Lynnfield, MA. The role involves organizing floor inventory, keeping the area clean, and ensuring proper labeling of shelves and boxes.

You will read work orders, order stock from the warehouse (RIMS), and track timing and urgency of orders. The daily workload is predominantly light (under 10 lbs) with occasional lifting up to 25–30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of material handling experience.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Attention to labeling and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Organize the floor inventory.
• Keep the area clean and free of debris
• Maintain proper labeling of shelf spaces
• Ensure all boxes are labeled with the correct inventory code
• Order inventory from the warehouse.
• Carefully read the work order or requisition
• Order the correct stock in RIMS.
• Note the time and urgency of the order
• Follow the order through to completion and note the time the order was delivered
• 90% of the time it’s very light duty, less than 10 pounds
• 10% of the time will lift 25 to 30 pounds
