Job summary

NSK Americas in Liberty, Indiana is seeking a Second Shift Technician or Technical Specialist to repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems in the manufacturing plant. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and read mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints to identify components and repairs.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, and be eligible to work in the United States; 1–3 years experience with CNC

Qualifications

Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must be 18 years or older.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: 1–3 years experience with troubleshooting, setup, change-over, maintenance, or repair of CNC equipment and robotics.
Minimum 2–4 years of position-related experience; preferably 4–6 years.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems throughout the manufacturing plant.
Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment and facilities.
Learn machine troubleshooting techniques both electrical and mechanical.
Read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints to identify components and functions.
Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
Ensure operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions.
