Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC is seeking a warehouse associate for 2nd shift in Florida. The role involves supporting a continuous flow manufacturing process, handling materials, and ensuring accurate shipping and receiving.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform quality inspections, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Requires 3+ years of experience, English proficiency, and a high school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred).

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience required.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• Previous experience training and/or leading others required.
• Previous experience in material handling and shipping/receiving required.
• Experience working with automated demand fulfillment systems required.

Responsibilities

• Operate across multiple warehouse areas to support supply chain in a continuous flow manufacturing process.
• Identify disruptions/malfunctions, troubleshoot and perform routine repairs/adjustments.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Move materials with forklift to designated locations; assist with receiving, shipping and order fulfillment.
• Develop capacity plans to support build-to-stock or build-to-order environments.
• Ensure inventory levels are adequate to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize costs.
