Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC is hiring for a warehouse logistics role in Florida. The position offers 1st shift work starting around 5am with a pay rate of $23 per hour.

Responsibilities include material handling, forklift operation, inventory control, order receipt, packing, and shipping to support a lean, continuous-flow manufacturing environment. Applicants should have 3+ years of experience, be able to read/write/speak English, and be at least 18 with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience in material handling and shipping/receiving preferred.
• Associates degree optional but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate within multiple work areas to support a continuous flow manufacturing process.
• Perform material handling, forklift operation, inventory, order receipt, inspection, fulfillment and shipping.
• Identify disruptions and troubleshoot; conduct routine repairs/adjustments per SOPs and protocols.
• Plan capacity to support build-to-stock or build-to-order environments and ensure inventory levels are adequate.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving schedules and manage warehouse space.
• Audit goods received into the warehouse and oversee receipt, storage and shipment activities.
• Promote safety, Lean principles, and Kaizen improvements across processes.
