Our Home in Illinois is seeking a Shift Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2nd shift to supervise up to 50 employees across all phases of snack food plant operations. The role ensures safety, production, and quality meet specifications while coordinating schedules. Mon–Thu, 4:00 p.m.

to 2:00 a.m. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in a lead manufacturing role or 5+ years of equivalent experience, plus knowledge of Excel and GMP requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years manufacturing leadership experience, or 5+ years in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of database software; Excel and word processing.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and skills.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Working knowledge of workplace safety and GMP regulations.
• Ability to evaluate problems and make efficient decisions.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Written and spoken communication skills.
• Sound judgement and decision making.

Responsabilités

• Coach employees to perform duties safely for personnel and food safety.
• Support adherence to production schedules and packaging, manage crewing and line rates.
• Lead team problem solving, discipline, and timely progress reporting; coordinate shift communication.
• Act as on-shift emergency response representative and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist in meeting customer requirements through training and sanitation/GMP adherence including HACCP.
• Identify lean improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
