Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Specialist for its turbine generator component factory in Fort Payne, Alabama. This 2nd shift role runs Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, in a climate-controlled environment focused on high-quality electrical components for large generators.

You will assemble components, read blueprints, perform quality inspections, use hand tools and machinery, and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
• Strong safety and quality mindset is essential.
• Hands-on manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, energy sector a plus.
• Proficiency with hand tools and machinery; read technical drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly, fabrication, and assembly of turbine generator components.
• Use various hand tools and machinery to complete tasks accurately.
• Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints for precision manufacturing.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products to meet specs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals and deadlines.
