Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. seeks a skilled Manufacturing Specialist for our Fort Payne, AL turbine generator component factory. This is a 4th shift, weekend nights position (Fri–Sun 5PM-5:30AM).

You will perform hands-on assembly and fabrication of turbine components in a climate-controlled environment, following blueprints to ensure precision and quality. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand tools, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED; technical training in manufacturing is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings or learn.
• Safety and quality mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly, fabrication, and assembly of turbine generator components.
• Utilize various hand tools and machinery to complete tasks accurately.
• Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to ensure precision in manufacturing.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products to meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
